For Sale: No-name (Hondo II?) Resonator banjo -- SOLD -- Pending (sold)

For sale is a no-name (possibly a Hondo II or other cheap Asian-made brand) resonator banjo.
This was found in the trash by a friend who gave it to me to do whatever with it. The peghead had been completely snapped off of the neck (only the veneer on the front was holding it).
I was able to go through and glue the peghead back on, sand the excess glue, finish, and stain off, and reapplied stain and finish (I didn't have any stain that was a perfect match, so it gives the back of the neck a worn through look).
I ended up sanding the veneer off since it didn't glue back like I wanted. Plus the brand name was worn off, thus I wasn't able to completely determine it.
I set it up with a new nut and 1/2" bridge, along with new strings. Tightened the head up as well. The action is a little high, due to some bowing in the neck (I've adjusted the truss rod, which helped some, but am afraid to tighten it anymore--honestly it won't go much further).
A decent knock-around (well not too hard) banjo or for a beginner.
